Internal lime plaster repairs
A small area of damaged plaster does not always mean stripping an entire wall. I look at the condition of the surrounding finish, the wall beneath it and any damp problem before discussing what needs attention.
Work can include internal lime plaster repairs, localised patching and window reveals. Photos of the whole wall and the damaged area help us start the conversation. If previous materials are visible, include a close-up of those too.
External lime render repairs
External work starts with the condition of the wall and its existing render. The aim is to agree a suitable repair rather than cover over a problem without understanding it. Access, exposed edges and protection for new work all need consideration.
The gallery shows real work at different stages, including fresh external render and hessian protection. These photographs are useful examples of the process, rather than promises that every wall needs the same treatment.
